In a world full of judgement it can be very difficult to find your ‘safe space’. I would often seek it out, in places you probably shouldn’t, and instead found many pieces of content and comments that lead me to question myself and my self worth.

Crazy how a few comments on the internet that weren’t directed at you can make your world come crushing down!

I decided that enough was enough, it is my life and my choice how I wish to live it and what I consume. That’s when Votre Choix (your choice) was born.

Now I won’t come on here to pretend I have my whole life figured out, that I know everything there is to know or that I am above anyone else. Lets face it not one person on this entire planet can say that they know everything and I am tired of seeing people online who portray such an image. I am simply here figuring my journey out, trying new things and sharing what my current thoughts and feelings are. I hope that you enjoy the transparency, share a few laughs with me and find solace in the fact that we are all on a continuous journey of finding and loving ourselves.

What I can say is that this blog will be my brain dumping ground, talking about the things I am most passionate about or what new ideas and thoughts I have had. I will share what inspires me, where I find my favourite things (be it podcasts, books, skincare etc.) and little snippets of who I am. So in honour of that here are a few things about me:
